The New York Times Best Sellers: Fiction – July 25, 2021

The New York Times Best Seller list is widely considered the preeminent list of best-selling books in the United States. It is published weekly in The New York Times Book Review magazine, which is published in the Sunday edition of The New York Times and as a stand-alone publication. The best-seller list has been ongoing since April 9, 1942.

    No shame in promoting books nowadays. First the blurp from authours who never read the book. "Great book". XXX Then the free copies to people who must write a four or five star review. "Great book" Send me the next in line. Its pure snake oil salesmen we have got instead of critics. I checked a five star reviewer - she had never reviewed a book before - just this free one. She had bought an umbrella and a soap earlier. Sad...
