Shouldn’t I Be Missed by John Hudson Tiner

“We don’t have to dispose of the body. We can dispose of the mind.”
An attacker knocks Dennis senseless and pushes him into a freezing river. He survives, but his memory is scrambled. He has no idea who tried to kill him. To track down his killer, he first must track down the details of his life. He enlists the skills of a quirky young woman. She is a part-time-drummer who aspires to be a full-time private investigator. With her help, Dennis discovers the deeply sinister reason for his memory loss. Despite the dangerous ground he is upon, Dennis can see humor in his struggles and find time for romance. His story is not one of gloom, but of triumph.
